The icing is beautiful no? Instant gratification does not work with love. Today's society is so intent on 'food in the fast lane' that authenticity is a trait of relationships long past. The sitting on the swing, the getting to know one another, the PASSION of possibility. There are no should's, or have too's in love, you HAVE to be WHO you are when no one is watching. That is the real you, there should be no facades, no make believe and you have to love yourself... if you don't you will lose yourself in trying to keep what isn't yours, what is a gift and should be honored not owned. When you are happy by yourself, when you are your own best friend, then the rest falls into place. Relationships are just icing on a very precious cake... the cake that defines the layers of our life.. the important stuff, the lessons we take back to source! Thank you for this article! Namaste'
