How to Turn Anxiety in to Excitement
Anxiety is usually looked upon as something negative. Not so long ago I thought so too but now I have discovered that nothing is negative or positive. The meaning you give to something leads to the effect you get out of it. Anxiety can serve you as it makes you aware of the fact that you have a definition that doesn’t work for you. When you feel anxious don’t deny or ignore it because you can’t change what you don’t own. Accept your feelings as they are.
If I feel anxious, I understand that this feeling is there for a reason to reveal something that I didn’t know about myself. I couldn’t wait to explore and discover that belief or definition so that I can let it go. That is how I turn anxiety in to excitement. This way every so called negative feeling becomes a tool for self improvement.
Let’s say you are feeling anxious about a job interview. Ask yourself why you are feeling this way. Do you believe that you are not good enough for this job? Change your belief. Believe that you have what it takes to do anything that you desire. Feel your true potential, feel unlimited to be unlimited. Remember what you truly believe about yourself becomes your reality. It is not what others think about you that matter but it is your own belief about you that matter that is materialize on the physical plane. You are the creator of your own world so behave as one. Call it quantum physics or spirituality, call it anything you want, the point is that is how the reality works. Every day I prove it more and more for myself though I still have some more work to do but it doesn’t seem like work as I enjoy the process so much, of discovering the dated beliefs and definitions and then replacing them one by one with the ones that are more in alignment with who I have become. It is also fun to see the reality change around me. You have just one energy. You experience that energy as fear or anxiety when you filter it through a belief that you are no longer in alignment with. You experience the same energy as joy or excitement when you filter it through a belief that represents your true perfect self. With this perspective anxiety becomes a beneficial tool to make you aware of the definitions that need replacement. When you see and use anxiety in this way by accepting it and then discovering why it is there, you transform it into excitement and joy. This is because you are using it for the reason that it exists that is to make you aware of the fact that there is something in you that is out of alignment that needs to be brought back in to alignment.
