Thirty Days of Joy & Gratitude!

Today is the beginning of thirty days of joy and gratitude. What I will do during the coming thirty days is to deliberately charge my vibration with the appreciation related frequencies. Before I sleep at night I would mentally make a list of the things I appreciate about myself and my life. When I wake up in the morning I will go over them again. During the day I would stay in this vibrational state as much as I can.

I would do the things that I enjoy, if something comes my way that is not fun for me I would deliberately look for some aspects of it that I do appreciate. I would look for a way to make everything fun! I have CDs of all of my favourit songs and music ready. I have bought the DVDs of some interesting movies and a workout DVD that I am very excited about (more about it later). Maybe I will document my days in the comment section of this article and you can too if you want to do this experiment with me. What I want to get out of it? I have no expectations; it is just something I feel like doing now.

High Frequency Vibrations

From my personal experience I have noticed that when I start my day with the feeling of joy, gratitude or appreciation (I call this state the zone) my day is so much better then any other regular day. Vibrations of gratitude and joy are high frequency vibrations and they attract to you things and situations that are of like vibration. Now I don’t even care if I attract something or not, just this feeling of gratitude is such a wonderful feeling and you could almost get addicted to it. Sometimes I am not even particular about what I am grateful for or why I am feeling joyful. I just feel I am in the zone where life is fun and exciting, I feel happy just being me and I don’t need any other reason to feel this way.

Obligation to feel in a certain way

When my state of being reflects who I really am, things line up for me that are representative of my joy. However I don’t feel this way all the time, sometimes an uncomfortable thought will creep in and then if I focus on it a feeling will emerge that is not in alignment with my true self. Now I am getting good at detecting what is not me and not wasting energy on it. I am practicing to separate how I feel about a certain thing and how others think I should feel about it. I don’t think that I have an obligation to feel what everyone else is feeling about something. Now I can feel joy at will.



Instant Manifestation

My belief is that everything in my life at the moment is a blessing and will continue to be so. Abundance to me is a state of being and because I feel this way I notice that when I feeling particularly appreciative of life and a thought crosses my mind about something, that thing would instantly manifest. Not appear in front of me but manifests in a way that require no particular action from me. For example just now I remembered that I forgot to pay my mobile phone bill and in that very same moment I received a text from my phone company thanking me for paying my bill. Apparently my husband has just paid it in that exact moment even though I hadn’t told him to do so. When I am in a state of joy I find more things that adds to this feeling.

Doing more With Less

Another thing that has come in to my awareness is that when I take action in the direction of what I find exciting no matter how small that action is I get more of what I enjoy. This happened about two weeks ago, there was this workout DVD that I really wanted it is called The Bar Method Workout. I normally order such DVDs over the internet because in North Cyprus they are hard to find. So I looked for it on amazon and also on ebay but I couldn’t find a seller who would post it to this part of Cyprus at a reasonable price. At first I was a bit disappointed because when I am excited about something I always follow through with it. But then I searched for it on youtube and found many small clips about this kind of workout. I made a play list and start to do it everyday. I enjoyed it a lot.

And then one day I was talking to my brother on skype who lives in London, I was telling him how good this workout is and at the same time I got this feeling that I should look for this DVD one more time on ebay. I typed it in the search box and found a seller who was in U.K and willing to ship (before this DVD wasn’t available in UK) at a very fair price so my brother bought it and then posted it to me. I received it today and can’t wait to start this workout tomorrow.

So now I know that if I enjoy something and take some action towards it then I receive it. In this case the action was doing the workout with the youtube clips. It is making most of what you got. I still haven’t figured out how to apply it to bigger things or what I perceive as big things but I am in no hurry, all in good time.

Day 1

So today was the first day of my thirty days of gratitude & joy and I think it went pretty well. I woke up in the morning to find that it had snowed during the night and the mountains looked very beautiful. Saif (my son) didn’t go to school today as he had bit of a cold. However he was feeling much better after his car racing game for Nintendo DS arrived in mail today, also a gift from my brother. I had chicken doner takeout for lunch, I thought I would indulge myself a bit before starting my workout routine tomorrow. We had lunch while watching Yogi Bear. I used to love Yogi Bear when I was little, the movie was O.K. though I enjoyed it but I like the original yogi Bear Animated Series much better.

I am about to have my tea now, the weather is really cold and I really enjoy tea in this kind of weather. So that’s another thing I appreciate! See you tomorrow and please do share your comments. During the next 30 days I will also share my experience in the comments section.
