Have Perfect health & loose weight by Mind Power


No matter what your present physical condition is, you can have perfect health; you can loose weight and have your ideal body. Any thing is possible if you have a strong desire for it. You should be determined to reach your goal and see every difficulty in your way as a challenge. Remember more effort a task requires, bigger are the rewards.

There are two main parts of this article MIND POWER and ACTION. Both are equally important.

The first thing you have to realize is that you have unlimited will power. We all do but only some of us realize that it is there. When you learn to use it you see every obstacle as something to achieve, as a possibility to strengthen you more. If you want to awake this great power in you, then you have to recognize the “I am” within yourself. This is your higher self, it is all strong and courageous, and no temptation can weaken it. All you have to do is to acknowledge it, to believe in it. When you do that you will feel a sense of will power and determination that you never felt before. This power within you will help you to achieve any goal you have set for your self. When you have will power of the soul, you become a different person. Even people around you began to notice that there is something different about you.


In order for you to be healthy and loose weight, you have to make a mental image of your perfect self. You have to form a mental conception of health and wellness. Imagine yourself doing your daily tasks looking happy, healthy and fit. Always think of your self in perfect health no matter what your physical appearance is at the moment. I have mentioned law of attraction quite a few times in my other articles and I will mention it again because it works in every situation. I firmly believe that what you think about, you bring about. You have to focus on health and vitality rather on being over weight or sick.


I struggled for months to loose weight after my baby was born but nothing worked. I thought of it as a lost cause and went on with my life. However I always had a feeling that something was missing from my life. There is something that I don’t know and I prayed to God to show me the way. I don’t even remember how but I began to come across books and articles to better my life. Most of these books were written more then a hundred years ago by the great metaphysics of that time, but the knowledge and wisdom in them is timeless. I began to learn about the law of attraction and about how we all are the manifestations of one universal source of energy. Call it God or Universe the truth is that we are sparks of the one divine energy. I realized that I have power over all aspects of my life, be it physical or financial. My pregnancy weight came off easily in a couple of months. As a matter of fact I weigh less now then I did before I was pregnant.

Well then, I think now you understand the power of thinking right. Now it is time for ACTION. Eat only when you have earned your hunger. Having craving for something is not hunger. If you are hungry in between meals, most of the time it is only thirst so before you decide to eat something have a glass of water first. I will now tell you the secret which helped me shed all my extra weight. When you are having your meals, chew your food until it is almost liquid then swallow it. There are spiritual reasons behind it which I will not discuss in this article however I have noticed that this way of chewing give me more energy. This way of eating will take some getting used to and it will take you longer to have your meals but believe me it is worth it. Stop eating when you began to feel full. You will notice after a while that you are eating half of your usual portion sizes. Take your meals in a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere but don’t make unnecessary conversation while you are eating nor watch T.V, concentrate on your food. Take your time when you are eating enjoy the smell, colour and taste of your food. Be grateful for it and give thanks.

Keep away from desserts until you have reached your ideal weight, if you are tempted think of your higher self. Even after you have lost the extra weight, eat sweets in moderation. A healthy and delicious compromise is a slice of whole wheat bread with low fat margarine and honey. If you knew how precious and amazing your body is, you will think twice before putting junk in it. Some people take better care of their cars then they do of their bodies. Don’t let food have power over you. You are the master of yourself.

Limit your intake of tea or coffee to two cups a day. Stay away from fizzy drinks even the no sugar ones, have a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice instead. Buy a small juicer if you don’t have one. Fresh apple or carrot juice is also very good for health. As a matter of fact choose any fruit you like. Home made fruit juice is far more beneficial then the store bought variety.

Have your breakfast and lunch. But I recommend that you don’t eat dinner. Instead have fruits and a glass of fat free milk without sugar. I usually eat a bowl of weetabix cereal with low fat milk and honey. You can also substitute your dinner with any high fiber and low fat cereal.

Be ACTIVE in your life. I love to take walks and breathe in fresh air. You can go to the gym if you prefer it or get an exercise DVD and do it at home. The most important thing is that you choose the exercise which you ENJOY. You don’t exercise to be healthy but you exercise because you are too healthy to sit still. I prefer to do Yoga or Pilates because afterwards I feel not only energetic but also peaceful. I don’t feel tired or hungry which I used to feel after my intense work out at the gym.

It is really important that you breathe deeply and fully. This will help you be healthy and also strengthen your immune system. Do you know that almost 70% of weight loss is related to breathing in a right way? Not only before and after your exercise session but when ever you can take deep and regular breaths. When you inhale fill up your lungs and then exhale slowly. When you feel tired practice this form of breathing and you will feel energized.

Keep away from stress and worry because these mental conditions will compel you to eat more. If you are having thoughts of this negative nature immediately divert your mind to a more favorable, happy and positive subject.

Every night before you go to sleep concentrate on health and be thankful for this blessing. Focus on health and don’t think about any thing else. Do this for a couple of minutes or for as long as you can manage it.

Have faith and never give up. Be persistent and in due time you will be successful in achieving perfect health both in mind and body.
