Meditation Technique

This article explains a simple meditation technique and benefits of meditation. It also discusses the third eye and astral travel. Also at the end of this article there is a series of videos about meditation that I think you will really enjoy.

Meditation is the key for a healthy body and mind. It cures diseases and helps you achieve your natural state of being that is perfect health and inner harmony. It helps you deal with your every day problems in a way that advances you and you come out of them with a better understanding of yourself and your life. You then evolve with every experience and your consciousness expands. This attracts abundance in all areas of your life.

In deep meditation you start the journey towards your higher self, that part of you that is unlimited and connected to the source energy. This clears your mind from all unnecessary clutter of thoughts and you gain clarity. You become ready to receive the wisdom that was before obstructed by the chatter of negative thoughts.

Practicing meditation need not to be complicated, it is the simplest thing to do. All you need is a few minutes out of your day, a quite place to sit comfortably and watch yourself breathe. As you become aware of your breathing your thought process will cease. Don’t worry about stopping your thoughts. Don’t force yourself to stop thinking. This will happen naturally once you stop paying attention to the voices in your head and start concentrating on your breathing instead.

Breathe naturally. Sooner or later there will be a warm magnetic sensation through out the body. As you continue you will loose the sense of body altogether. The breathing will grow less in volume. Finally the conscious breathe will cease. You will be in silence; you can go where you please and return at will (astral travel). You may roam in mind through the subjective world of thought. You will then be in tune with the cosmic consciousness.

When you make it a habit to meditate regularly and get into the spirit of it, you can achieve wonders in your spiritual and physical life. You can then experience the third eye and astral body travel. Some of you might find these concepts strange or even unbelievable especially if you are new to meditation. Let's take a closer look at these terms.

In deep meditative trance you see the reality in its totality. You see the bigger picture. You see your life in a completely new light. You become at one with the source energy and since this energy fills all space, time and beyond you see things that you can’t otherwise. A wave of joy sweeps up your entire being as you come face to face with a knowledge that leads to total freedom. This is called the third eye that sees all and knows all.

In astral travel your higher self can travel to any place in this universe and also to other dimensions beyond time and space.

I believe this can be done because theories of physics support this idea. Perhaps you have heard of parallel universes. This is not science fiction; look up the latest developments in the field of physics. String theory which is based on Einstein’s theory of relativity explains that the universe we live in exists in a ten dimensional hyper space. Though the parallel universes exist around us we are unable to see them because they operate at a different vibrational frequency. Some have a higher vibrational frequency then us and some lower. While some are very much like our own universe differing only in the position of an atom. With regular meditation the frequency of your vibration reaches a higher level and thus you are able to see the other dimensions.

However when you start to meditate don’t expect to have a dramatic experience at your very first try. As a matter of fact don’t expect anything or try to do anything. Just sit and breathe. Whether something specific happens or not is not important. What is important is that you have taken time to meditate to connect with who you really are. Your real self is in tune with the infinite; it is above mind, body and conditions.

When you realize the vastness of your being you feel real strength and happiness that comes from within, nothing can hurt or scare you. You know and feel that you are being looked after at all times. This feeling of assurance gives you joy, confidence, hope and energy. You begin to see opportunities which you couldn’t before. Your positive energy is radiated to those around you. You attract to yourself helpful circumstances, people and things. This in turn changes your environment and brings abundance to your life.
