Qigong Healing

by Gayook Wong

Hi Sabine,

Here are some thoughts. Heather is going through dual trauma right now - her son's death and cancer. Both are life and death related. I strongly suggest that she see a professional counselor/therapist, if she hasn't already. Heather needs to grieve her son's death. In my professional experience, the death of... a child, especially one so young, is not only an emotional crisis, it is a spiritual one. Having cancer shortly following that only compounds the grief, now of her own mortality as well.

In terms of spontaneous remission, people who have received that through the healings I do have totally surrendered to what has happened and what is happening to them. Having said that, qigong and other alternative methods can still help in building the immune system. I've also had clients who underwent chemo and/or radiation, but had no side effects because they've continued with their qigong practice, had multiples prayers groups, and/or went for acupuncture.

I started a blog for healing trauma through qigong, www.theforgottenpeace.wordpress.com. If you feel it would help, please send it onto her. In one of the postings, I take people through a simple calming qigong meditation. It's under Holiday Musings.

Hope this has been helpful. Also, I would appreciate your feedback on the blog in the Comments section, subscribing to my email if you find it informative, and referring others who you think would benefit from the information. I want to start a community of survivors and practitioners for mutual support.

Please let me know what happens.
